Food Drive was a HUGE sucess!

A big THANK YOU to all of you that came by & supported me in my collection efforts on January 19th, the National Day of Service. As a group the OC Food Bank volunteers were able to collect over 13,000 pounds of food in a single day from local stores in Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita & surrounding areas. Our Von's was the Little Store That Could - we collect 16 grocery carts of food that day, one of the highest collection levels of the day! The cashiers said they have never seen that level of purchasing for a food drive before. Thank you all for your generosity - your contribution truly made a difference!

Food drive this Monday at Von's

We will be holding a canned food drive this Monday (MLK Day), January 19th from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Von's Store on Los Alisos. You know, the store with me on the grocery carts. All of the food donated will go to the Orange County Food Bank. Come on by, say hello to your area Realtor, do your shopping and donate an item for someone less fortunate. Hope to see you there!

A belated Happy New Year to everyone! One of my resolutions this year, besides losing the obligatory 10 pounds, is to blog on a regular basis.

We have so much going on in the country (and the world), it is hard to see where we, residents of the Melinda Heights area of RSM, are being impacted by the economy. Southern California real estate number differ greatly by area. I hope that I will be able to give a customized profile of what is going on with Melinda Heights real estate. I will use this site to post facts & figures about sales & activity in our area. Check back often, as my goal is to have information posted weekly!
